Why We Started
Monte Alto Construction was built from the ground up — literally. We're a newer company, but the experience behind us is real: years of hands-on work in foundations, framing, and demolition across Los Angeles County before we ever pulled our first permit under our own license.
We started this company because we saw too many homeowners and investors get burned by contractors who overpromised, cut corners, and disappeared when problems came up. We wanted to do it differently — show up, do the work right, and be the kind of contractor we'd want to hire ourselves.
Being family-run means something to us. Every project carries our name. That's not a marketing line — it's the reason we don't take shortcuts.

Foundations
Concrete slab, raised, and stem wall foundations for new construction and additions. We work from engineered plans and coordinate with inspectors to keep your project moving.
Demolition
Selective interior demo, full structure teardowns, and site clearing. Clean, controlled, and coordinated with your next phase — whether that's a new build or a remodel.
Rough Framing
Wood-frame construction for new builds, room additions, and structural repairs. We work from engineered drawings and handle coordination with structural engineers and inspectors.
General Contracting
Beyond our core structural work, we manage full-scope residential projects — ADUs, room additions, remodels, and retaining walls — under one CA license.
